Description

Done for my Editorial class. The original concept was a bit more negative than I liked, as I am a fan, even of the new trilogy. So I had to add some kind of hope, and that would be the twin suns of Tatooine, that in some ways represent the beginning of the saga. George Lucas, destroyer and/or creator? You decide; your opinion.

George Lucas is a creator.  No, more than that.  He's an inspiration.  Not just to people who saw him films, but to people in general.  Name any other famous writer/director who holds contests for fan films and gives awards to those who put in the most effort.  Name anyone else who puts out a library of sound effects and music to use in said fan films.  George didn't want to become head of a big corporation.  It just happened through the success of his films, but it didn't change who he is:  A generous human being with a heart as big as outdoors and a brilliant storyteller.

A destroyer, he is not!  So the man tinkered with original Star Wars trilogy?  That's not an act of evil.  It's just a decisions he, at the time, had every right to make, regardless of how everyone else felt.  Yes, the movies were made with a collaborative effort, but the Holiday Special is proof that Star Wars without George Lucas results in a mess.  Withholding the theatrical versions from the fan base is a bad decision on his part, but that doesn't make him a bad person.  Harassing actors over social media for just doing their job is what a bad person does.  Playing the victim card when being called out on such behavior is what a vindictive person does.
